The Mobile Spray Tan Process

Before your appointment

  • Exfoliate and moisturize everyday leading up to your Spray Tan Appointment (starting 3-5 days before)

  • Shave at least 12 hours (or wax at leave 24 hours) before your Spray Tan Appointment

  • NO Warm Showers 12 Hours before your Spray Tan Appointment

  • Come to your Appointment with clean skin, free from lotions, perfumes, deodorant and sweat

During your appointment

  • Our Artists just need a small space to set up their spray tan tent.

    • Bathrooms tend to be where we normally tan, but we have also set up in the middle of the house!

    • During the summer months, we do not recommend spraying in garages as it gets too hot for the artist and you may sweat during the appointment

  • Spray Tan Formula normally stays contained within the tent. If there is any overspray, it is very minimal.

  • Our Formulas DO NOT stain fabric

  • Wear baggy clothing that will not rub at the tan

  • Appointments from set up to tear down last about 30 minutes

Post Spray Tan Appointment

  • Rinse off your spray tan when your artist instructs you during your appointment with cool water

  • Moisturize every morning and evening

  • Drink tons of water- stay hydrated!

  • DO NOT Exfoliate

  • Pat your skin dry with a towel, do not rub

  • Use SPF daily!!

  • Use a Gradual Tanning Lotion to help extend the spray tan (starting day 3-4 post tan)

  • Wait at least 12 hours post tan to shave, but if you can wait 24 hours do so

  • Take pictures and send to your spray tan artist to show off your perfect glow!

Mobile Spray Tan Safety Agreement

Queen City Spray Tans Mobile Service Agreement
By booking any mobile spray tanning service with Queen City Spray Tans (“we,” “us,” “our”), you (“Client”) agree to the following terms:

  1. Service Refusal & Safety

    • We reserve the unconditional right to refuse or terminate service at any time if a spray tan artist feels unsafe or threatened for any reason.

    • No explanation or disclosure of the reason for refusal is required.

    • The safety and well-being of our artists is paramount; no exceptions will be made.

  2. No-Show & Cancellation Policy

    • A “no-show” (failure to be present and ready at the scheduled time without prior notification) will result in immediate termination of all future services with Queen City Spray Tans.

    • To avoid this, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel.

    • If you cancel with less than 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged a $45 cancellation fee. This fee is aiming to enhance fairness and scheduling efficiency for clients and spray tan artists.

    • Clients are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the service location, including available parking. If the artist is unable to access the location or park safely, the appointment may be treated as a no-show.

  3. Payment Terms

    • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in advance.

    • Accepted forms of payment include cash, Venmo, or other approved digital payment methods (Square).

    • Failure to pay at the time of service may result in cancellation of future appointments.

  4. Photography & Social Media:

    • With verbal consent, Queen City Spray Tans may take photos for marketing or social media purposes.

    • No images will be shared without the Client’s permission.

  5. Gender-Based Appointment Requirement

    • Male clients receiving mobile spray tans must have a woman present in the appointment space at all times.

    • If no woman is present upon arrival, the artist may refuse to proceed and will treat it as a no-show.

    • Male must wear swim trunks or boxers at appointment.

  6. Feedback & Satisfaction

    • We welcome your feedback—if you’re unhappy with your tan, please let us know.

    • While we cannot guarantee we can fully correct every issue, we will always do our best to rectify any concerns in a timely manner.

  7. Preparation & Aftercare Compliance

    • Clients must follow all pre- and post-tan care instructions provided by Queen City Spray Tans.

    • Results may vary depending on individual skin type, preparation, and adherence to aftercare recommendations.

    • Queen City Spray Tans is not responsible for uneven fading, color variation, or other issues resulting from failure to follow these guidelines.

  8. Liability & Conduct

    • Clients agree to provide a clean, well-lit, and private space for the service.

    • Any damage to property caused by negligence will be the responsibility of the Client.

    • Abusive, harassing, or threatening behavior toward our artists is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate service termination.

  9. Health & Skin Disclaimer

    • By booking a service, the Client affirms that they have disclosed any known allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical conditions that may affect their spray tan.

    • The Client acknowledges that spray tanning solutions contain DHA and other cosmetic ingredients that may cause allergic reactions or skin irritation in some individuals.

    • Queen City Spray Tans and its artists are not responsible for any adverse reactions, allergic responses, or skin conditions (including but not limited to rashes, irritation, or breakouts) that may occur before, during, or after the service.

    • It is the Client’s responsibility to follow all provided pre- and post-tan care instructions to ensure the best possible result.

    • If you have any doubts or medical concerns, please consult your physician before booking a spray tan service.

  10. Acceptance

    • By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms.

    • These terms remain in effect for all current and future appointments unless revised in writing by Queen City Spray Tans.
